With a creative app for F.A.Z. we have not only impressed Schirn Kunsthalle and their visitors, but the artist Yoko Ono as well. As part of an integrated event marketing campaign, we supported our client for the first time in the field of culture sponsorship. F.A.Z. was looking for a way for the newspaper to connect more directly with the experience of a museum visit, specifically with the exposing work of Yoko Ono. For this purpose, we developed an app that allowed users to create artistic eCards which could be sent directly to the artist. The app was also made available to the visitors via a terminal at the exhibition. These digital greetings to Mrs. Ono served as a competition where F.A.Z. honored the most creative eCard. This promotion was characterized as one of the most successful community development promotions in an otherwise hard to reach target group.
